Official Plane Spotting Thread III


gloomy weather that day, with a drizzle. Was inside car and shot thru windscreen
could hv done excessive processing to hv caused it to look weird.

Wonder what should be the appropriate settings of shutter speed and aperture for plane shots

For me i shoot at iso 100 f 8 or 9 shutter speed at 320....all base on sun shine day...
 

d2xpeter - I typically shoot in manual, trying to keep my shutter speed quicker than 1/320.

The forum actually limits and resizes the resolution of images to a width of 1000 pixels by scaling it down.

meanwhile found this while sorting out old files, photo was actually overexposed as it flew out suddenly.
Camera was still in bag and in settings for taking backlit.
