Share one candid shot to show the effect of no AA filter on the D7100.

Shot with 70-300VR on AWB (set to M1), camera style Standard, all camera functions set to "off". Adjustment made to saturation and brightness in post.

Compared to the D600, I can feel the difference when doing processing in LR. By applying the same setting, pics from D7100 seems to be more saturated and a bit more contrasty. I personally prefer the colours of the D600 a little bit more (I shoot human 95% of the time), but this is just one of the few small little nit-picks of this excellent camera.

Another one to show the skin tone.

Nice images.
The images producesmmby the 70-300VR seems pretty good to me.

Yes bro, the 70-300 VR is definitely a gem for it's price. I abused it so much that the VR is spoilt  There are many people that bashes this lens though, and that puzzles me.

Another one by this combination, see if there's moire:

This is really good.
It make me start to consider this lens instead of Tamron 70-200 F2.8 VC.
The Tammy may costs 2~3 times more. ..

Regarding moire issue, I hv seen someone comparing D7100 to Canon 70D and surpricingly the performance of D7100 is much better than the 70D which come with the moire filter.

Saw on the BnS section that many people is selling the D7100. All moved to FF? :D

Well, that is a possibility, given that the D600 dust spot saga is over and the D800 has somewhat dropped in price. Then there's also the Nikon Df too. And then there's also new developments from the mirrorless camp.

Also some people sell when they see the rumor of D9300...

Well, i got to keep my D7100 for at least another 3-5 yes. No approval for new body till then. Hahaha. Until i exhaust the usage of this cam, i don't really need another.
