how come the resolution of the photo taken by 350D is only 72dpi x 72 dpi (file size already set to Large and fine, 3456x2304 pixels)? I am really suprised ...as even my olympus PnS camera take photos of 144 dpi x 144 dpi resolution.:o

how many stops of tone range can canon's CMOS sensor handle? Read somewhere that the 1Ds can only handle 5 stops. Anyone know how many the 350D sensor can handle? Seems digital sensors have small dynamic range than films. Maybe that's one of the drawbacks of current DSLRs.:)

Was practicing with my new 350D these days. However, I find when I use automatic mode or AV/TV mode, the histogram of the pics are not properly centered most of the times, which means pics are under-exposure for about 1/3 to 2/3 stops. This happens even when I shoot outside. And the exposure...

Just bought 350D (with kit lens), was trying to set Aperture to 3.5 at AV mode, but failed. The maximum I can set to is only 4.0? Why? Did I do something wrong? pls help:embrass:

Some say the hood is only usable for full frame camera bodies, cause the unwanted flashing always occurs around the corner of the frame, thus is excluded in croped frames of 350D/30D. any comments on this?:)

Although with 1.6 crop factor, this lens can not serve as wide lens, its USM and IS attract me a lot... any user of this cute budget lens? How is the field performance of it?:D

Hi guys, I am thinking buying 350D from one of the US webstore as the price is attractive compared to that sold in Singapore. ;p However my concern is will the 350D covered by local warranty in case any problem come out with the camera in the future? Anyone ever bought DSLR from overseas...
