i'm loving every seconds i have with my LX3!
Not only it's a beauty in the outside, it's a beauty in what it can do.

battery initial charge how long ?
Some comparison shots: LX3 and F31
Er, both shots taken handheld with the cameras' AF not being that responsive or predictable in macro mode. The LX3 has focused on Shell and Vodafone, while the F31fd has focused on the 1 and Shell. Not a scientific test!Excellent comparison... FD31 still have better output @ ISO800 when not pushed.
I'm curious why the FD31 pics have more DOF?:dunno: Especially on the model car shot.
Anyway, I'm inclined to think that when using higher ISOs, you have to try to nail the correct exposure, as lifting the shadows may bring out the noise too much.
Hi guys!
i am having this problem.... most of the pics i taken looks damn good and bright on the LX3 LCD but back on my Home PC and Laptop they are a bit "gloomy" :dunno:
the problem is quite bad when i tried taking landscape images with the sky :dunno:
i think i need to set 1/3 e to counter this problem.. anyone has similar comment?

The LX-3 has full functionality with the Olympus FL-50R, other than wireless triggering.
I am using this too.. but it fits well with the LX3 only, if you want to put a extra battery in it, it will become a bit squeezy.
