Wow! looks like you will get to wear the "mushroom hat" very soon with more studies. :)
Looking forward for your travel photos for sure.

Here is my contribution on the Helix Bridge.

K-1 with A 16mm f/2.8 Fisheye.

Cheers !!!

Actually, I only just glanced thru a few shots from that day and I think I had nailed it for the Goddess of Mercy shot wrt pixel shift use.

Really nice perspective with the fisheye.
Maybe you can try to center the horizon more to get even less distortion on the main items in the picture (eg. Art Science Museum, CBD buildings etc).
Just a thought, as the tradeoff with that will be a less exaggeration of the fisheye properties with adds that dynamism to the shot.

Do share more of the workflow and impression if you can. TIA

Now that RT v5.0 is out (as in the link above), I've jumped to using that.
Still fumbling through the program though and not too sure whats new over v4.6.

Pano of 5 frames.
Didn't like the way the edges were too stretched out so I reduced the 100mb file to a 29mb one, and problem solved!
Plenty of details left over too and 29mb (8193x5120p) is certainly plenty.

Edit :
Flickr compresses things even at full size so here is a full sized one on Google Drive instead :
Important! : 100% via this Google Drive view is going all the way in via the " + " and then backing out with " " - " by one.

Thanks JK for the link to the RT V5.0, i downloaded the one which say Pixelshift.

Trying out the pixel shift with their adaptive detection, seem to work well. I try to use manual motion detection with grids, but it seems that the new 3X3 seem more accurate with adaptive detection.

anyway, this is one of the images i try... It's a similar shot with JK, however, i used a wide angle lens.. Felt it has good details covered but not as much as JK's shot.

You posted your samples too late for me man! :(

This Irix 15 is easily sharp to the edges and more rectilinear than my Samyang 14/2.8!
I would have got hold of Bernard's copy if I knew earlier. :D

aiyah.. i thought Bernard should have poison you alot, but u resisted well. kekekek

After looking at the Flickr full sized pict vs whats on my laptop, I'm very sure that Flickr does compression to the file even if its the full size, so details are lost.
So some of the previous posts have been updated with a image link to Google Drive as well for those who want a better look.

Another image from that day in the CBD.
K28/3.5 never fails to amaze with for its resolution for stopped down shooting.

I added noise to the sky to remove banding (the only way that I know of)
So if anyone knows of a better way, appreciate if you share it. TIA

JK I would be willing to give you access to private server space if you want to play around with it to see what it does.

Pixel Shifted on RAW, processed in-camera to convert to TIFF. Unfortunately, Flickr does do a wee-bit of "damage". The 100% I see on my monitor, I can see the GUCCI very well inside the MBS on the bottom right corner. On Flickr,:sweat:. And as you can see, dust bunnies gets a mention on the image too!

Thanks for the offer.
I really appreciate it.

I think the Google Drive does well enough for now, not to mention that its generally hassle free to manage (since thats done by Google) :D

Thanks again. :)

Thats a pretty smart idea of converting the pixelshift file. :D
I never thought about that.

Yes, the full sized file via Flickr, just won't do the camera or pixelshift enough justice.
I open the same file via Flickr and one on the harddisk to view side by side, and the difference is apparent.

I've been thinking of sharing access to the same Google drive I'm using (me, you, Franz, Ranchy), not sure if it works this way, but we can discuss this offline.

This time, I wanted to see what happens when I add a bit of accentuation of all the wall details that has already been captured with pixelshift.
A very very light setting on NikEfex "Detail Enhancer" at a setting of "3" (slider is 0-100) does well, bringing up all the details on the wall surface itself.

Wow,

I am blown away by the degree of clarity and level of details. Thanks for sharing the work flow.
