Sigma 15-30 f16. Mode: MC

Nice shot and vantage point.

Yes, with pixel shift, the main difference will be added clarity and fine details which would otherwise be "interpolated" due to the bayer array layout.

The request to put up a link to full sized photos is up to you but the basis are these :
1. Other folks will look at this 1024x768 sample and say "Whats so special? My camera can do this too.. " :D
2. It compels the user to up his skill, because to dare to post up a full sized file, he/she better make sure its decent to be pixel peeped. :)

Of course, doing it or not is up to individual.
BTW, if you compare the 100% of your pict on PC to Flickr, then you will find out that Flickr introduces quite a bit of compression.
Which is why I moved to sharing a link to a google drive.

This morning snap...

Sigma 15-30 @15mm f16,AE-L 1/125s,Bracketing -1.0.

Downloaded from FB. Hope the info above helps. As advised, will set up google drive asap.

I mostly will slightly under expose my photo for maintaining details as later on doing processing. I am not sure is it the right things to do but only base on my "feel"....haha. tq

Using Sigma 15-30 @15mm f16, Manual setting, PS: MC mode, FB download.

This time i using full manual setting to do exposure on this shot. Sometimes is good to use full manual setting then using AV/TAV etc mode. What is your say on this, guys? Tq

Updated with B&W version...

Very nice vantage point.
I like the colored version better.
The BnW ones "equalizes" the elements in the scene so it becomes less interesting than the one with colors. (imo)

This time using K18 f3.5. As this is my first time using this function and am not sure am i using it correctly. Below are two sample shots,

Without composition adjustment

With composition adjustment

Below 2 shots: @f11, pixel shift, composition adjustment.

My first view is, for landscape or cityscape this function is good to have. For architecture photography may seems not enough compare to T/S lens. Hope those have often use this function share their view here and also hope to learn more. tqvm

Wow.. the sharpness!! its good!

The numbers on the card plate, parking signs, words on the safety sign and the words on building, details are there when zoom in!
even the tiles roof details are so well defined.

Its always an impressive thing to go 100% and see what fine details were captured.

I did shoot, but not as much as hoped between then and now.
Hope more people can help chip in their experiences and knowledge.

Pentax K1+Laowa 12/2.8

Did the best I can for the more gloomy day.
Luckily some hint of of pink in the skies as the Sun descended.

Not all is rosy with RawTherapee though in that I find that it does not pull down highlights as well as Lightroom.
Of maybe (I do suspect this) that the way I am doing it isn't the right way.
I have to create another copy with -1ev and then just blend in the skies (as opposed to just pulling the Highlights slider down with LR)
So any suggestions will be welcome.

As usual, full sized sample here
