Tamron cannot do lens calibration in spore

just asked tithes how long it would take to do calibration. they said that they can't do it here and have to send it to Japan. it would take one month.

just thought id let you know for the benefit of those guys who may be intending to service their lenses.

thats why i always advise people dont buy third party lens

yea if i had the $$ i would buy canon. but prob is...i don't. so it's a matter of spending $500 on a lens instead of $1500 and putting up with the inconvenience of a 1 mth wait for servicing. looks like ill have to use my 50mm prime now.
