but alas....

Any of you have any idea how much I can get a NEW 70-200L F4 for?
(from CP, TCW, etc?)

I think you are refering to f2.8 L. The f4 are around $1280 for new

Should be grey (1 year shop warranty). But I was quoted 1250 over the phone. Might be better to go down personally to confirm price. TK and MS Color should be asking for around 1280 (agent set).
