have a frank and open talk on the subject and tell him that it is affected you.
otherwise, there is little that you can do than to take appropriate 'defensive' measures.
tessar is a 4-element lens. the planar has five to seven elements. there are also sonnar, distagon, biogon, variogon etc. due to the small number of elements, tessar lenses are compact in size.
tried both the bronica SQAi and SQB before. both are very easy to use. a user manual is probably unnecessary. like keltzar has said, loading is a breeze. shooting is a breeze too. plus the shutter of both the SQAi and SQB is battery operated, so bring fresh spare batteries with you when shoot.
imho, get a reasonably good one to try. they give better result and are less prone to breakdown (seagulls are good but not lubitels). go for a mid prized rolleiflex TLR or something equivalent. go for a MF SLR like bronica, mamiya if you are willing to spend more for the flexibility that comes...
hi,
i'm considering getting a SCA390 flash adaptor for my 503cx hasselblad camera but i'm not sure if it will work with my metz 40mz-2 on a G16 battery grip. i understand from a forumer that the G16 accepts a synchro cord kind of connection which does not give TTL or OTF feature. so the flash...
hi,
i'm a new comer to medium format and currently using a hassy 503. trying to figure out the uniqueness of the square format and how to bring out the best in a square format picture. any pointers?
though i am not a TLR user now. i have played with a few before and have settled down with a SLR MF. i would love to be a part of the action if it is not on sunday. will look out for subsequent outing.
i would recommend the acute matte screen with split rings and micro prism for it versatility for all kinds of work. like neo and nescafe had said, you cannot diy the screen change. the local agent should be able to do it for a small fee (actually the job is no big deal).
roll film will cost about twice as much per shot compared to 35mm. processing fee is slightly higher. just slightly. in terms of prints, little cost different.
the other cost is longer waiting time for most 35mm labs as they really send the exposed films to the larger labs or head office...
quite correct that we shouldnt be too bothered with other automation when we use a manual camera. i am convinced that i should buy a hasselblad. a 500 series; 500c, 500cm or 503cx.
