Another one from this series.
It was a revelation for me on what this camera can do.
I now want to push it even further with other ideas in mind

Thanks for the compliments. I myself was surprised at the edibility of the files from this camera. Granted you don't get the nice bokeh and sharpness from the A7 cameras but, at this size, i wasn't expecting this good results.
Definitely i will try to push it even further..especially when the mk2 has a leaf shutter that has a max flash sync speed of 1/2000...so..i have some HSS stuff in mind i wanna do in my next shoot

I always shoot in M mode. Both f5.6, iso100 and shutter 1/250. Can't recall the flash power. It's also touched up in photoshop.

Another session with this camera today. thanks to the leaf shutter, i no longer have to worry what shutter speed i'm on. Just adjust until i deem fit without worrying about going over the flash sync speed because there is none.

Again, nice work!

Very nice! Like an ulta-high shutter speed with strobe light effect...! :)
I am very impressed with the RX100 series. Even the mk1 can produce excellent results out of the camera. You have taken its performance to a new level!

Here's one instance whereby i found the limitation of the camera..well, an ND filter would've helped plenty..but i didn't bring one and i can't exactly attach it to the camera either unless i hand hold it.
It was about 11am, sun was hot and bright and even at iso100 f4, i was already at the max 1/2000 shutter speed which wasn't enough. the sky was still too bright and even with the strobe at max 1/1 power, it wasn't powerful enough to fight the sun...so..i had to replace the sky completely. I wonder if a 1/8000 shutter would've helped...next time, i'll bring nd filters out :)

Another 2 more photos taen with the RX100 mk2 with the Godox AD360. This time becuase it was bright sunlight at about 11am, i handheld a polarizer in front of the lens and use the flash at full power

RX100m3 is performing better than EM5 + 14mm f2.5 at Aquarium KLCC. <img src="http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=7997"/>

That's quite impressive then. Smaller sensor trumps bigger sensor with faster lens?

Am a fan of your work bro, very nice!

Today, i decided to do a little test. The A7r with FE55 lens vs the RX100mk2 inside a studio.
This is one environment i'm sad to say, the rx100 wasn't made to be in. There's no Liveview setting OFF option like the a7 series so..in a studio camera setting, everything is BLACKED out on the screen..impossible to frame your shots becuase you can't see..It will show up when you press the shutter button but only for that 1 sec..once it gets focus, it's black again...was quite a pain using the camera in the studio.

Because i edit base on situation, i don't record down my settings so i edited both based on memory...can you guess which image belonged to which camera?

arggg! ..you removed the exif data ! :p I think the right one is the A7. More details in the cap which should be expected of APS-C vs 1". But I like the left photo better. Nicer colour and better contrast. If guess correctly, can get free A7? haha

Hehe, it's FF vs 1" :)

Well, so far, everyone that guessed even on facebook, guessed that the right one was from the a7 and the left from the rx100...

The truth is...the left is the a7r and the right is the rx100 :)
I was surprised myself when i compiled both images together. I never expected the difference to be so slight and i myself actualyl preferred the rx100 image. Even during editing, unless i zoom in really close, there was almost no difference in editing both raw files...which brings me to think..how much benefit does a FF sensor really have when you're not shooting wide open or shooting objects far away.
