Sony Infrared IR and Nightshot Photography

i still prefer images with colors. forgive me guys, hehe. ironically, what i'm studying now involved looking at microscopes, which are often greyscale... More into macro shots, since i like looking at things smaller than the naked eye.

any idea if the cam can capture microscopic shots just by placing it on the eyepiece?

The x-ray thing aside, it's really quite interesting to do IR photography. I am pretty hooked on to it. Some of the shots in colour looks even better in IR. Will need some tweaking though, as the 717 images are a little greenish.

The green properties are inherent in Nightshot mode. The only way to remove it is by post-processing.
