SIBOS exhibition is open to public today (24 Oct 03)

from 9am to 12pm at Suntec. It's an annual exhibition organised by SWIFT for the financial industry. There're lots of booths and free gifts. Usual day rate is $400++ but today it's free for the public.

Go there if you're interested to learn or just to collect free gifts (heard that one booth is giving out free Duck Tours tickets the past few days) ;p

this shows seems to be very big....the whole suntec exhibition hall are booked by them, "walls" are even build to separate the exhibition hall and the shopping mall, and all the suntec logos are replaced by SIBOS, security seems to be very very tight too.

i was wondering what kind of event is going on there...

it's one of the biggest event for the financial industry. banks, regulators, software companies, network providers, other financial institutions, etc are all there.
