Hmm. how long does it take? cause the program hangs after i drag the drive to the removable drive. don't know if it's usual or not. Thanks anyway.

I was trying to verify the results I've gotten earlier. The results may be because of the Card Reader. Maybe I should buy a new card reader.
Any recommendations?

Supposedly 66x max 10MB/s... and 'til now I am still very satisfied with it.
Guess what I got

TwinMos is good at 4.2MB/s write. Who says mini-SD is slow?
Anybody know why Kingmax so slow? The test for Kingmax took way over 10 minutes.
sinlg said:So Kingmax sux? hmm.. the write performance is very bad. At least you can get 36x.. I'm getting 2x read only on my desktop and 9x on my notebook.
Terrible.
flowerpot99 said:What will happen if we use the camera as the reader? Will it be the same? Notice that the endurance value is very low guess the problem may be that. Maybe it cannot write stably at high speed. Seems like highest read speed here is 44x wonder if anyone will get more
sinlg said:So whats the best (and cheap) multi-card reader out there?
USB 2.0, Firewire? Any recommendations? Preferably in the $20-$30 range
flowerpot99 said:Hi sinlg notice that for the Sd card test you got 36x for your Kingmax 1GD and you miniSD. Is it that your card reader only read at 36x max? Maybe you can try looking for a driver update for the reader?
flowerpot99 said:I am using a 19 in 1 card reader, believe the brand is APro9(will go home see).It seems good to me. Its a black reader with furry texture though it look plastic, theres also a short USB cable built in. Got it at ITfair $19, my friend got one at SLS for $21 after looking ard(most going at $27)
Hopes this help
Ya maybe you get the same reader as mine then can compare hahasinlg said:No.. if you see my tests.. I only achieve 9x Read, 6x Write.. very bad. I suspect it may be the card reader bottleneck
$19 is cheap.. is it USB2.0 - is it fast so far? Is it small enough and portable? What format does it support? MS/MS PRO/MS Duo XD/SD/MMC/SM CF CFII
the above only 9 formats.. did I miss any?
