Hi Guys,

Over the past months I have posted here a few panoramas that I took around the Singapore River. This time here are a couple from England, from an indoor market in Newcastle upon Tyne. Yeah, the home of that football team with the black & white strip. If you think that this shopping mall is not quite as modern as those in Orchard Road bear in mind it was built 173 years ago.

Panos like this with people moving around can be tricky to stitch.

You need QuickTime to view the pano.

My main interest in photography is social history so if you find these shots look very ordinary and not very interesting fair enough. I am looking 50 ahead to when things are very different, then they will be fascinating. I hope some of you in Singapore are similarly recording your social/cultural history, or is it too late ;-(

When you've finished playing with the panos check out the webpages before & after and you'll see what I mean.

Cheers,

Pete
