FYI, Canon do not have AF motor in the bodies. Nikon needed to take out the AF motor from the body to reduce the size and price to compete with Canon.

actually if that makes the body cheaper but the lenses more expensive, and if that makes the body smaller but the lenses bigger, it will make nikon less competitive instead.

so its a bigger brother of d60 and smaller brother of d90? no internal motor? cannot use old lens??? am i correct?
