Leonid Meteor Showers

Anybody keen to take pics of bits of rock streaking thru the skies leaving fiery trails?

And check with local astrophotography sites/ppl on when/where is the best time & place in Singapore to take such pics.

TASOS (The Astronomical Society of Singapore) has an outing planned for 19th November to McRitchie Reservoir area between 7:30pm - 9:30pm, so presumably this is a good time to catch the meteor shower. Note that TASOS outing is for their members only and I am just regurgitating stuff I found on their webpage. Please contact TASOS if you are interested to go.

peak is estimated at about 9.30 pm tuesday night 19/11/02.
on proper skies, about 30-60 meteors for the WHOLE NIGHT only.
about 3-6 per hour. terrible.
on our skies, don't know.

or fly to central europe, good view there, heh.
