I think "free" Canon tshirt, cos i read somewhere that organizer wants participants to wear the tshirt during the competition.

Last year also, they gave free Canon vest, and expects us to wear.

Well, if I didn't remember wrongly, the first theme was given at 8.15 or 8.20am even though it suppose to start at 8am and by the time they finished the whole event with all the prize presentation, it ended around 11pm. So I guess this year will end at around 12am.

yes, i believe so. past years, no registration fee(a disguise for forced donation) need be paid.

I think this is first year they collect fee?

i think it is alright to turn up without pre-registration. try and you may be admitted. i cannot imagine why the organiser will turn you away.
