Does UV/Clear filters makes a difference?

i just change a normal Raydawn UV filter (given free to me during purchase) to HOYA Pro1 Digital
the coating is different. you can tell by the reflection with both filters and the colour tone of your pictures.

does anyone know whether the olympuc SP 590 UZ can accomodate a filter ? Where to buy ? costs ? - for lens protection, mainly. Thanks
