I am thinking of getting a D200 too. But the D80 is coming out in 6 days time? Is August 9 the product launch date (ie. available in shops?).

Does it mean the D80 will make the D200 obsolete? ;p

D50/70/80 are entry level while D200 is mid-range, so different level. Take a look at the spec and you will know the difference.
