Just picked up the Nikon version. Am curious to try out both Canon and Nikon versions being turned on at the same time to see how the lights respond. Or perhaps it will trigger based on the first transmitter that is paired.

No it doesn't. I believe they had a promo for the B1 location kit that includes the remote.
