Personally I don't see the point of upgrading to FF and then getting these one-in-one zooms to go along with it.
That's like buying a sports car and putting crappy tires on it. You upgrade for a reason. Going down this route, I think he's better off sticking with APSC.

That's y I buy lenses that are dedicated to each purpose.

I had a 7d but like u, itchy backside, go try ff. Got a 2nd hand 1dsmk2 widintention of tryin for a month n sell off but it never did happened... Ended up neglecting 7d n eventually sold it off. So,if i m u, i ll take choice one cos it s jus poisonous. Shut up n keep shootin is the best. Follow ur head n not ur heart... Haha...

if u are a macro shooter then FF is not suitable for u.

u need a 150mm-180mm macro lens to shoot decent insect macro.

but if u are a landscape and/or portrait shooter.... FF can make u forget about your crop.

Yup, crop save u $$ if ur shooting macro, sports, nature, birds. Cos u get the xtra reach, without ghe xtra cost

Actually the cost of switching is not that much if I sell everything in the crop set.
Already have a nice 24-105mm and the 2 nice primes.
Partly the motivation for exploring a FF camera is to utilise the 2 lens, especially the CZ a lot more.
But it does really cost a lot ... a bit much for a sometimes hobbist ... LOL ..
