Just upgraded from 512k to 1500k, but did not realise any speed increase. Did a broadband speed test and it showed a very low speed connection. Is it a norm? Is there any way (configurations?) to speed up?

1640.8 KB downloaded in 9.58 seconds.
This gives a download speed of
1371 kbps or 171.33 KB/s
This is very near to the 1.5M link connection. Also, the time that you took the test is important. For Singapore, it's much faster connecting in the morning than at night.

Please share what do you get with this test, would like to compare if we are all getting what we paid for, thanks in advance.

hehehe... I just called Singnet and they said that I should be getting higher than what I got now, so they are sending their men to check my place on Monday. Can you believe that on a public holiday.
