Anybody used SD to CF Converters?

Anybody? Something like this one sold by Eastgear ?

Does it affect the write speed? Thinking of getting it for my D70, since now I also have SD cards for other stuff ...

D1X - worked
D2H - didn't work
D100 - didn't work
D70 - didn't work

aiyoh ... wasted ... moreso when SD seemed to be getting popular ... the newer coolpix compacts all use SD already ...

im using the panasonic sd-cf adapter with transcend 60x sd.... pretty cool... thinking of testing kingston(turtle card), hope the difference not much... as i tried shooting raw with the 60x sd... practically theres no sign of lag ...like a blink difference...lol... very very close to shooting jpeg

ya...D70.... quite expensive iirc.... cant remmeber the exact... bought it quite sometime ago for pocketpc usage.... between 70-80
