Leica M latest special editions M9-P included

Never heard of an M3-P. OTOH, an MP-3 is nothing more than a retro-looking M6 with 3 sets of frameline (35-50-90), just like the good old M2. It is a "modern" MP, not the original MP that is highly sought after collectible. So in short, an MP-3 is more or less a metered-version of M2, but...

Using T exposure on a IIIf

you can turn the slow speed knob at the way to 1/15 s, that would minimize the exposure time difference. The cable release for IIIf is identical to that used by Nikon F SLR. you can still get a "new" one HERE for less than US$20

Using T exposure on a IIIf

gently turn the speed dial to setting other than T, say 1s and see :)

New to photography, using film and older cameras

Your images appear under-exposed/lack contrast and that could be due to: 1. Reciprocal failure of film - Most common films manufactured over the past several decades follow the reciprocity law over a range of exposure times from about 1/1000 second to about 1/10 second. When your exposure...

    50mm Summarit

The rendition of Leitz Summarit 50/1.5 that I know looks more like this pix as opposed to those posted here. Why such great difference?? film vs digital? (Then again this one is also digital (M9) but doesn't show such strange color leh! Could it be just due to overcooked PP :dunno:
