So, you're saying that if an airline kena lighting, it's fatal? If that's the case, all airlines would be ground during a thunderstorm, and an airport wouldn't be viable for a place like Singapore with 1 of the highest lighting occurrence, isn't it?

Aircrafts are stuck by lightning all the time and most often than not, the only consequences as a result of these lightning strike are just a pair of coin size entry and exit holes somewhere through the skin of the fuselage along with perhaps some missing static discharge wicks though the current could also possibly punch a fist size or even larger hole and delaminate areas of non-structural composite materials along the solid bars and segmented diverter strips of the radome.
