anyone here knows where else is good for steamboat all you can eat/buffet? less than $20 if possible

try this link... Traditional steamboat that i have been eating since i was a kid and Im 32 now so its that old school. Or the charcoal steamboat at 7 storey hotel.

Sorry forgot that you want buffet... the above 2 mentioned are not buffet though but are good.

I think you can try Beach Road Golden Mile Tower basement.

the last time i went to the steamboat place at Tan Quee Lan St., i had to pay for the soup. i thought the soup should be complimentary. don't know if they still charge you for it.

Name of shop : "Zhen Zhong Chong Qin Steamboat" sound like that.

Soup base are: Ma-la, Tom Yam, Herbal Soup or Chicken soup
Can have "Yuan-Yang" soups. Meaning 2 type of soup in one pot.
Beside this steamboat shop is a underground pub.
Be there early... normally after 6pm... the crowd is in.
