By Andy Ho:

Pulau Ubin, a Malay name for Granite Island, and situated on the north-eastern part of land scarce Singapore, faces an uncertain future as plans for developement threatens it's very existence as a nature lover's paradise. Join me, Andy Ho, on a trip to a paradise not many really and fully understood.

If u are interested u can go down to the blue color 2 storey coffeshop in the village center there are photos inside the shop ....... some of them i believe are by Andy Ho. (the shop is opposite the Wayang stage, you wont miss it, its the only blue 2 storey house near the stage) ;)
Hope u enjoy the trip (do go to the highest point in Ubin, its a spectacular view up there)

kenneth,how to get there har?
some simple guide pls.
and also,u quiet here nowadays hor.

to go to the highest point
first u need the map :D
then find Merbat Hut on the map, look to the right until u see the second turn which leads into the forest.
Usually should have a clear dirt path, since it is frequent by visitor.
There are few levels whereby the highest point has the best view :bsmilie:
hope its help

alamak, when yesterday never see ur message.
miss the highest point.thought there got map but can't find.
it was definitely a tough trip.
bike upslope was damn xiong but nevertheless a trip worth going back to.

Hahahaha alot of people complain when i bring them to ubin also.
You can find map at the NPark visitor center which is on the right of the main jetty. Or u can patronise the last bike shop on the left, and the uncle will give u one for free if u ask for it.

Hmmm maybe next time i going to ubin and ask fellow CSer to tag along
Cheers, hope u enjoyed your trip there. :)
