You can check out this sticky

http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=169320

As a start, it contains helpful suggestions on where to go for your photo taking.

Eventually, I think the challenge is to take wonderful pictures at places which are instead overlooked by others.

I shot this from the red star position, using Tamron 90mm.
as you can see on the map, this place will not be there forever.

Mmmph I think I'll do a more detailed writeup soon.

A lot of places are good, it depends on what sort of shot you want. If you're ok with a urban sunrise then anywhere in Singapore will do; if not, the eastern beaches are good for sunrise on the whole, same for most of the central catchment area reservoirs, in short.

The pungol area is really wonderful location, low vehicle and human traffic. There is also a very nice misty effect in the morning from the huge area of vegetation.

For a higher vantage point, consider going up to those LRT stations along the field.

For unopened stations, the stairways leading up to them can also be used.
