Hi guys, recently i went photo taking with my FZ7 and noticed that most of my pictures seemed washed out.. What do you advise to counter this problem?

I dont have a place to upload the photos.. however, to me the colours seem quite dull.. i'm not sure if it is the focus or not, but the color do seem abit old..

u can use software to touch up the pictures to ur liking
or adjust the in-camera settings such as contrast, saturation

wash out = too much light loh.
compensate by either:
1. minus exposure value (the plus/minus sign; not to be mistaken wif the flash compensation)
note: did u accidentally set this value to + and forgot to change back??
2. use smaller aperture/faster shutter spd
3. use higher iso (not recommended)
4. are u taking in bright sunlight? use ND filter
5. are u metering at the wrong place?

P.S. u can't much post processing if u pics are washed. meaning u can't make a washed out pic look normal. there's no color info to adjust at all.

Go and register for photobucket.com and post it there... then copy the link here

I think I also have similar problem, so interested to see what you have and the tips.

Perhaps you could post your photo sample, so that others can comment?

You want advice on resolving /salvaging the photo, or on steps to prevent such incidents again?

Maybe there was very strong lighting like mid day sun or some other light source that caused flare on your lens? :dunno:
