Dunno why, but i ended up with the camera.

Anyway, here's a test shot that I took in the shop. Max zoomed using Auto setting.

Here's a 100% crop:

No other editting done to the images.

hmm...This is fine JPEG straight from camera right? :think: ISO reads 125 which is typical Leica 1/3rd stops with 1/30 shutter speed. Looks very close to what the FZ50 is producing...guess there is only so much Leica processing can do to the noisy sensor...
It'd be interesting to see what the V-Lux is capable of in RAW-TIFF mode...

yeah, straight from the camera.

Won't be surprised if the FZ50 does give better results, no chance to do a clinical comparison.

Seems that purple fringing is quite visible at 12x too for V Lux
