I apologise on behalf of the magazine and organiser and look forward in seeing you guys in other photographic events (hey dont shoot me hor, I am just the messenger )

the amount permitted was increased from 10 to 20 rite?
maybe the increment constituted to the organizers terminating the invitation?

It was in fact too good to be true. Logically, if you were the Marketing Manager; Would you allow more than 10 photographers into the event?

If i am the event organiser i will have maybe 3 official photg + max 6 volunteer photg only in order to save cost. :think:

save cost? they're not looking to pay the volunteer photogs. the only trouble they pose would be jostling for space with the official photographers.

I called edwin twice and he's out of the office. Should drop by their office later to check whether he'll be in by then.

Register at their site instead, I got an automail with confirmed registration:

I dont think its fair to blame Tuck Loong, he has mentioned in his first post he is merely posting this on behalf of the organisers and not acting in the capacity of the organisers.

The best person to explain the calling off would be the man in charge, and that would be edwin according to the t3 staff who answered my call earlier.

According to the mail, there's no mention of not being able to bring cams but zouk usually will not allow you in unless you're an official photog. only exception i could think of was the re-opening after the revamp.

now the lumix tz1 will come in handy, if one can get it by next week that is

i seriously doubt one will be allowed to shoot even if he has the pass to enter.

the registration is for one to enter the compound as a guest, not a photographer.
