Its my gf idea, if its up to me I'll be toy-hunting and lens-hunting ;)

I c, I am sure you will enjoy it.

Toy hunting.. ummm what kind of toy? Toy Gxn? hahaha Don't think you can bring back easily, yet I have a friend who manage to do so. ho ho

Hong Kong is famous for the toy figuring lah :bsmilie:

HK Camera Shop Address

HK Price List

Hope this help.

THANKS!

I am looking for Five Star Stories resin kits and a 12-60mm Zuiko ;p And maybe a 16GB iPod Touch (S$100 cheaper than SGP!) ;p Macbook Pro?

FYI, HK don't charge GST (right?) so maybe thats why some stuffs are still cheaper compared to SGP.

Not only because of the GST, There is no import tax as well as higher demand in Hong Kong. It's a demand and supply thingie.

HK is mainly for Gundam kits etc etc..you could get them at close to yen price, for figurines you can try mongkok/waichai (??) which have lots of shops selling Gasaphons (??).

But it all depends on what you are looking for, there's just no way anyone can say for certain that you'll definitely find it there.

Thats why I have a list of kits and stuffs I will be looking out for in HK :p

Oh Im more into figurines, those resin casted types, no need to assemble one.

o i c, so those that you will assemble yourself type, I think there is a big one near waterloo road near MongKok. I thought you mean those already made hand made figurines. hehe

before you go, take a look at the ref price list to get a better idea http://ygdragon.net/

have fun :). if you can, go on a slightly off-beat route -- go visit tai-o or the other fishing villages.

Eh no no, I want those already made resin casted ones, not those assembled ones; whehter by self, or by the shop. Those which come in one big piece without moving parts.

Just found a very good place for toy collectors - CTMA Building at Sai Yeung Choi St South - its called Toy Plaza and there's tons of shops with toys. highly recommended.

Also, I had the chance to see some camera equipment and here's sonce prices - not sure if its cheaper than in SG:

Canon 24-70 F2,8 - HKD 9250

Nikon 85 F1.4 - HKD 6450
Nikon 50, 1.8 - HKD 690

Hi, anybody know where to get cheap "pinky street" for modding in HK? What I meant by that is Pinky:St by Baby Sue & Vance Project (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinky_Street). Yeah I have grown younger and gotten over gundam, but still have all my good ol stuff.
