I find it stoopid initially, but disc after disc later, I realised there are some similarities in the cartoon with real life.

There will be people like:

Spongebob; cheerful, positive, gusto, gullible, fragile, work to live.
Squidward; self-righteous, self-centered, and work only if they're to his advantage.
Mr Krab; money-minded, penny-counting, greedy
Patrick; dumb-ass, guillible, devil-may-care attitude.
Pearl; inferiority complex, wallow in self-pity, lacking in self confidence.
Plankton; tiny but with massive plans, greedy, brash.
Sandy; misplaced but trying her best to etch things out, confidence.
Gary; highly dependent but smart, fast to gain favours.
... even Kraby patties; the secret formula everybody yearns for to makes him rich!

Isn't your life revolves around these people/things all the time?
