Performance wise, it is a very good lens with minimal distortion and CA. Resolution and sharpness are very good. The only thing that still stops me from buying is that it is only 28mm. I wish it were at least 24 or better 20. I don't think I will use the tilt feature that much so the lack of tilt is fine.

I've read about this lens before and almost have not seen anyone posted here in CS maybe I was looking in the wrong thread or forum hehe... Yeah very true bro its kinda weird Pentax make this lens as shift lens which only have 28mm focal I agree with you if this is wider would make more sense but hey there are those who uses 28 landscape and street. I always label the 28mm as neither there or here lens in terms of focal length, you either love or hate this focal .

The Canon performs admirably on the Sony, but the ergonomics are quite horrid (the lens is literally bigger than the body lol)

I don't go into that extreme about the perfect focal length. Just for my preference, I like something a little bit wider. The Canon TS 17 should be perfect for me but too bad, I could not afford!
