Was doing grocery shopping and took one Skippy peanut butter, as usual checked the expiry date. Still good but upon close inspection, I saw something suspicious.
The expiry date was stamped on the top cover which means if the product expires, just replace the top cover with new dates and continue selling to the public. What a great idea to save cost. I put back the peanut butter and bought something else.
There was only one expiry date on the product: the top cover. I think the proper way is to stamp another expiry date on the tamper proof cover, gives one more confident to purchase.:thumbsd:
