Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM ART

hahaha. One of my lens was dropped by a bridesmaid during a wedding event and my filter edge got dented and difficult to unscrew.
So I was thinking getting the Sigma protector to replace my current filter.

wow, if a prime need 6 hours, then a zoom need a week?
I read that there is this special Sigma jig designed to tune the glass.
fierce....

Moral of the story, trust only yourself XD Anyway, Sigma is the glass is more durable supposedly, not sure about the ring itself

No la, they say 2 working days cause I no appointment. The 6 hours is my own assignment, suppose to shoot 2 hours become 6 hours, then I couldn't take it, weekend not open so today then can go take

hahaha. lesson learnt. she took and think the whole setup is too heavy so kinda slip out of her hands.
Gonna find out the cost of the Sigma protector when I go down to plaza sing soon.

oh I see, think shall work out the cost of the dock and the spyderlenscal focus calibration.
it will be great if the tuing can be done by sigma foc..... :D

New lens, first time is free, my Sigma 35mm art is 2nd hand, so no free calibration :(

noted.
when they do the tuning, can stay and see the process?
and learn from the tuning.

:D

seh....

thanks for the info!
learn a lot from spidey89 and everyone here. :D

Have you decided what to go? Someone is selling a used lens for 1.2k lol

I am saving up money for the 50-100mm DC....
But now I am considering 2nd hand 85mm too....

arrgh! :D

Noob here still learning leh. with limited budget.... :D
Meanwhile, think I shall stick with the 50-100mm zoom.
If I step up to full frame, I would surely buy!

let me think again either

1) 50-100mm zoom
2) 85mm prime

arrgh....

Ok..we talked so much here, any kind soul can PM me the cheapest price of Canon mount sigma 85mm?
