Anyway, have you consider 15-85? Its wider than your 17-85, slightly better optics, overall its cheaper and no need change lens as compared to 10-22+24-105 combo

Since when is 15-85 cheaper than 17-85?

Anyway, TS, I m almost same as u. Now have 60D with tokina 12-24 and 18-200. Tinking of selling 18-200 to get 24-105L. But I will need to buy 55-250 to catch those candid shots from distance when subject doesn't know when I m shooting him/her. De only thing stopping me is vitamin M. If u got more vitamins than me then go for it!!

BBB Virus strikes again: "Dump the 18-200 and drop the idea of 55-250. Your Trinity would be 12-24/24-105L/100-400L" :vhappy:

For this trinity, Vitamin M will not do. You need Steroid M. :flame:

I also have the F4 trinity.... missing 24-105...

But now... thinking of going for 70-300mm L & 24-70mm II.............

My humble trinity is 10-22 (dun mind third party), 24-105L and tamron 70-300 VC USD - I just love how the tamron looks. The thing stopping me is having to change lens after 100mm. For my intended "candid shot from far away" I might end up switching quite often. At one point after getting my 12-24, I considered selling my 18-200 for tamron 28-300 VC as my 12-24 is close enough to the 28-300 - the 4mm gap is acceptable.

Bro, How do you rate the Tammy 70-300 VC USD? I am eyeing this baby too. Can't afford the Canon 70-300L IS USM. :embrass:
