We will be organising a photography tour to Chiang Mai for the upcoming Loy Krathong / Yi Peng Festival. Highlights include the thousand lanterns at the Buddhist Centre, monks begging for alms at local markets, architectural shoots at main temples in Chiang Mai Old City, Waterfall technical shoots at Mae Ya, Landscapes at Doi Ithanon (Chiang Mai's highest moutain) and Doi Suthep, cultural Khantoke dinner and performances.

I've asked this before to another group organising such a trip...
How do you plan for yee peng festival when the dates (as far as I know) have yet to be announced?..
It would be good if you had such information that you could share with the rest of us?
Or is the plans based on the saturday before loy krathong?...
