Hmmmm......why not clean it yourself? It really is much easier than you think...;)

All you need is a pack of PEC*PADs

A bottle of Eclipse Lens Cleaning Fluid

both are available at CP

And a $3 rubber saptula from NTUC that you cut to about 1.2cm in width. Then you follow the instructions found in the following two webpages:

CCD Cleaning Part 1

CCD Cleaning Part 2

do you know how much CP is selling them?
TIA

think its more practical to perform sensor cleaning DIY style. i cleaned mine using sensorklear and so far results not disappointing. but as usual precautions need to be taken la.
Ditto that. Pec*Pads, Eclipse Sensor Cleaning Fluid. After each swab, test it on either the sky or white clean paper.

Newer guys would probably need 4 or 5 swabs to get it all right. Old birds probably need just 2 to 3 swabs to get it clean.

Just send in to Nikon if in doubt. Safer. Less worry on mind.

I think it's $18 for a pack of 100 PEC*PADs and $15 or was it $20 for the Eclipse. They'll last you for about 2 years if you don't clean your sensor too often.
