697) After the train museum, we took a short cab ride to a hilltop within Mojiko which overlooks the town and also has a nice view of the Honshu-Kyushu bridge.

700) Entrance to the pedestrian underpass which links Kyushu to Honshu

701) The underpass...walk from Kyushu to Honshu

702) Looking for cab to get back to Mojiko train station...but street's empty...

704) A small shopping mall near Mojiko station

705) Inside the shopping mall

710) Hmm...looking for a drink in the convenience store...

711) Iced coffee, tea, cocoa....

This is where Mojiko is located at. As you can see, it's on the northern tip of Kyushu...just across from Honshu.

The blue path indicates the journey we took for this trip.
Yes, we went all the way from Northern Japan (Hokkaido) to the South (Kyushu) via train.
Train journey from Hokkaido to Shin-Osaka took nearly 24hours since it's not bullet train speed, and plus we enjoyed the luxurious overnight train ride.
From Osaka, we took additional 3 to 4hrs to reach Kyushu.

Appreciate if you could share your setting. What cam and lenses did you use for these shots??

Thank you.
I do some postpro edit on most of the pics on this thread though...

For this trip, I think I brought along my Nikon D700 + 24-70mm f2.8 lens since hubby was using my D90.
Can't really remember what sort of settings on photoshop I used on this batch since it's been nearly 1 year since this trip. Sorry.
