[Rumour] New Olympus mini OMD Stylus-1

With so many new camera announcements this past month, some of you may have missed this :

Olympus has developed a bridge zoom with 24-300mm fixed lens and 1/1.7 sensor. Using the omd styling.

looks cute, mini-OMD haha with a more than decent range and sensor size at 1/1.7". Include weather sealing, higher end EVF and a constant aperture for its range, this might be a winner.

Its a FT5, so... probably confirm another choice for an high end compact against the RX10, G16 and the likes etc.

think we gotta start a thread listing all the new cameras that just cropped up within the last month to now. haha

Hmm , never thought about that. Prob this shows we have gotten really comfy here in the MFT thread but u've a point.

Prob can have this shifted to the Oly thread and create some much needed noise there. Let the moderators decide.

Im not sure it's considered a oly compact .. although the sensor is not 4/3 but its OMD mini...??
