Recommend place to shoot NDP fireworks?

NDP coming around soon... never shot the fireworks before. Any recommendations on where to shoot?

Tanjung Rhu is a popular place but you could also try different places to get different angles, like Old Airport Road flats or Merdeka Bridge.

i think 19/7 is the NE show and 26/7 is the preview, must confirm tho.

hi folks..i took some fireworks photo few years ago...very discouraging,most of the shoot are over exposed in the center of the firework,is my exposure too long..and most of the shoot are unable capture the spreading effect of the firework...please advice..thx

Read somewhere that you would need to use a smaller then usual aperture setting and longer shuttle speed. Reason being you're shooting "fire" works and fire are hot and gives out light....

Seems like in your case your aperture setting is too small. And that your shuttle speed isn't long enought for the full spreading effect...
