question about converting the mode of pics before sending for printing...

just need to check on something i read on the forum....

i can't remember where the thread is, but it was about converting the image to sRGB before uploading to the web.....

question:
for sending the images to be printed,
do we need to go to image-->mode-->convert to profile-->sRGB ????

If you've set the color profile to sRGB in the camera, the image is automatically embedded with sRGB, you don't need to set nor do any conversion.

sorry, what about digital compact camera?
i dun think can set sRGB one leh....
i am currently using a sony DSC-W1..... so if it is not able to do this kind of setting, should i still convert the mode to sRGB before setting it for printing ?

Mmm cannot? :dunno: I think most can? If cannot then set to sRGB and save before printing.
