There too many unjust in the world, nothing much an individual can do. If you think you want to help, just sign the petition.
You want to help more, go to our local SPCA and be a volunteer, give donation regularly. There are lots of dogs/cats/rabbits had to put to sleep in Singapore daily. Why not help these that are within your reach? Whining here wouldn't help anything, There are a few CSers are actively animal-lover, you don't see them whining too, they just use action to help.
Of course, if you think that you are to go all out, than quit you current job and go and join Green Peace International. Maybe then you can lead a team of activitists and start throwing acid bomb not on Japan Whaling vessel but on Korea dog meat trader.

We eat house lizards, white ants, grasshoppers, snakes, garden snails etc. in the Japanese Occupation.
In other words anything that flies and moves.
If you don't eat them someone will.
After the war, Wan Ton doesn't taste as good as what we've had in the war.
