I've uploaded a video straight to youtube before and got that ticking sound (about 1 tick per second). But with this video I worked on it in Apple FCP X and exported with H.264 codec and uploaded that .mov file to Vimeo. Hope that helps!

Yup, i got the Tick sound when i convert it. Hmm.. ok.. since like alot of work process.. hee...
