One thing about my China made B&W film.
They don't have number markings on the negative, the shop cannot scan with their machine.
So I reply on my Epson V600 for the job.

Here's my homework taken with LX + Carl Zeiss Planar 85/1.4, Hoya 200/3.5 & FA20-35/4.

Everyone took nice photos!

Darrr's video was like professional amateur, if I can put it that way. I wish there was a "Like" or "thumbs up" button.

One thing I noticed was everyone took at least 1-2 pics of the young ladies- I hope you guys dont scare them away!!!

(EDIT: Edited version of video posted on page 6 of thread)

Finally managed to get this video thing to work. This is my first time working with video so the results aren't too great. Nevertheless, I hope I managed to showcase the enthusiasm and the helpful spirit of the Pentaxian community and our monthly outings. I think you have to click through to Vimeo to watch it in HD, and make sure to put it on full screen too.

Nice Video...
darrrrrrrrrr... Did you downsize or change file format for the videos? I did try to downsize in the past and i get a bkgrd tick sound. (Read it in the PentaxForum that there is an issue on it.)
If you have changed the file or downsize, What's file format or what's the setting you use to change?

Shanghai GP or Lucky SHD? Looks nice :)

Didn't know the scanner need the number marking

btw where did you develop your film?

Thanks.
Did basic brightness & contrast PP.
Sent to Singapore Colour Centre at West Mall. They then sent the film to??? (I didn't ask them)
Other B&W film has exposure markings on the edge of the negative, like 1 to 36.
I think the scanner used by the shop is auto type, not flatbed, cos need the exposure markings for auto scanning.

I've uploaded a video straight to youtube before and got that ticking sound (about 1 tick per second). But with this video I worked on it in Apple FCP X and exported with H.264 codec and uploaded that .mov file to Vimeo. Hope that helps!
