probably not enough volume to bring price down

price in USA offered by B&H, Adorama and Amazon is for the standard kit (body + 8.5mm prime) is US$799.95.

its the worldwide launch price. nothing to do with volume. even if they have pre-order for 1 million unit here, it'll just make them laugh all the way to the bank. it won't make the Q any cheaper.
