i had to enable the closeup feature for my cam to make it sharp...

will try post more shots once i have them...

basically just buy a door peephole an put it in front of ur compact camera lens..try to optical zoom to the fullest and check the effect on the screen...
lastly find a way to make sure the peephole stays in place without you needing to hold it..
