Just an experiment since I was bored.
Kids are much harder to pan than cars.
Taken with the humble 28-135 IS USM (with IS switched off).

Hi streetshooter, what's your camera setting, can share?

I just set to Tv mode and fixed shutter speed at between 1/10 to 1/30 seconds. IS was switched off, then just ask the kids to run.
