Panasonic Updates Firmware of DMC-LX3 V2.0

Sorry, went back to read the changes made in version 2.1 and realise the firmware does not save the key settings like aperture and shutter speed. So how useful is the custom mode then? Any experienced LX3 users can share how they apply the custom mode?

Hi, will 3rd party battery be still usable after the 2.1 firmware upgrade?

I have no problem using 3rd party battery with 2.1 version

The update process only takes 10+ secs once you accept 'Yes' to update.

Ya, I was a bit worried when it's not "1~2 minutes" as stated in official site. The camera just restarted and showed me "no photo display" after ~5 seconds of updating. Then I waited for 1~2 minutes before pressing any button, haha... only to know that the update was successful.
